This survey is being conducted as part of a research project into relationships between contractual practices and project successes and failures by Working Group 3 (WG3) of the International Tunneling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES).
WG3 is dedicated to researching and recommending improved contractual practices. This survey is part of a larger project to validate a checklist for contractual practices previously made by WG3.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. In order to take the survey you will need to have knowledge of the contractual practices of a project with significant sub-surface (e.g. tunnel and cavern) components. You answers should be made based on a single project.
The survey consists of twelve sections, each containing a series of multiple choice and short answer questions. You can answer as many or as few questions as you like. By answering more questions and providing more detailed responses, you will assist our research effort. Your participation will help improve the industry's best practices and will help future projects.
